Rotarex Carbide Toothed Carving Disc

The Rotarex RCT115 cutting disc with replaceable tungsten tips has been designed to tackle all types of timbers, included reclaimed timber which is often contaminated with dirt and debris.
The disc has many unique design features to ensure maximum value, efficiency and safety. The three replaceable carbide teeth are titanium nitride coated to further extend the working life, they are index rotatable allowing a new edge to be utilised once the existing working edge is exhausted and most importantly the special design of the mating face of the disc and tip ensures that there is no possibility of the tip working loose during operation.
During development close attention way also paid to the design of the discs body, again safety and efficiency were key development points and so an anti kick design is incorporated into the outer edge. The main core of the body is designed in a web pattern which has has two advantages, firstly is makes the disc transparent when in use allowing the user clear viability of the area being worked and thus allowing accurate removal of material. The web design also allows a free flow of air through the disc during use to ensure cool running.

Replacement tips are available in packs of three and are supplied with new screws a hex key and full fitting instructions.
