A great find, especially for those gardeners fed up with flimsy trowels. In Japan this tool is called Hori Hori, which translates as Dig Dig. Its usefulness doesn’t end at digging. It has a serrated edge one side and a bevelled edge on the other, and will perform such diverse tasks as loosening soil, digging, transplanting, dividing perennial plants, removing roots and tackling deep rooted weeds etc. The blade is 45mm wide by 170mm long and slightly dished, fitted with a shaped beechwood handle. The Hori Hori is supplied in a strong leatherette sheath with a belt loop. 295mm overall length. N.B. By purchasing any knife, you are confirming that you are AGED 18 or over.
